You could, but we don't recommend it. We have more than 20 years of experience writing resumes and cover letters for executives. We don't "regurgitate" the data you provide; instead, we put together a strategy and develop resumes that clearly articulate your value and showcase the expertise and talents you offer a prospective employer.
Who will be writing my resume?
Our client management team is comprised exclusively of Certified Professional Resume Writers directly employed by our firm. We do not use subcontractors.
How much will it cost?
Executive resume packages range from $450 to $975 and are geared toward discriminating executives looking for premium service unmatched by any other firm. For more specific package and pricing information, please review our Services page.
Why do I have to pay 100% of your fees in advance?
The document we create for you is one that cannot be used for anyone else. Ours is a highly customized service that requires a specific time commitment for each project we take on.
Your advance payment means that you have our full commitment to your project. We cannot allocate time in our schedule to those who haven't made the financial commitment to work with us.
How quickly can I get my resume?
We strive very hard to have your resume draft ready for your review within 5 to 7 business days following receipt of your worksheet responses (for Silver package purchasers) or completion of your interview (Gold, Platinum, Premiere). If you need something quicker, please consider the rush fee structure we have in place to accommodate a faster turnaround schedule.
Which package should I select?
If you're the type of person who prefers to work independently and would like to outline the details of your work history in a questionnaire format, the Silver package would be appropriate. Most who complete these worksheets feel that the questions asked are very comprehensive and in-depth. Of course, it's not necessary to repeat information already provided on the old resume, so it's not an exercise in duplication, but rather a thought-provoking piece designed to get you thinking like we do (i.e., putting yourself in the shoes of the prospective employer and determining what's relevant to him).
On the other hand, if you prefer a personal interview where you and a member of our staff would set aside some time (usually 60-90 minutes) to go through your work history in a teleconference format, the Gold package ($575) would be appropriate. Prior to the interview, we'll go through your resume and compile a list of questions for you that are specifically focused on the missing details. You will not waste time responding to generalized questions that aren't applicable to your situation.
The Platinum and Premiere packages feature a variety of bundled, discounted services that may be appealing to you if you are considering the value of our job search services.
How do I get started?
Once you have decided to bring us onboard, the process of working with us is very easy and hassle-free!
1) Submit your Resume Services Contract via our trouble-free, secure .
2) We will confirm your order within 24 hours (or the next business day) and advise regarding the details of the next step in the process. If you do not receive this confirmation within that time frame, please call us immediately at 1-888-522-6138.
3) If you've selected the Silver package, your next step will be completion of our comprehensive worksheets, which we will e-mail to you in a MS Word file.
4) If you've selected either the Gold, Platinum, or Premiere package, we will contact you to schedule your teleconference.
5) After we have received your worksheet responses or completed your teleconference, the next phase is the writing/development of the resume. Typical turnaround of the first draft averages 5 to 7 business days.
6) Once you've received the first draft, you will have ample opportunity to make revisions before we ask you to finalize the document.
